What are patient tags for?

Patient tags

The system allows for more advanced patient identification using patient tags. These tags help to capture additional information about the patient e.g. payment method, chronic conditions etc.

To access the tabs setting window click on the expand button on the patient list row for the particular patient. The button is a downward-facing arrow on the left side of the patient name and initials. Click on add tags to open the tags window.

 

 

To use existing tags, select the tag category and choose an existing tag for the category selected. Proceed by adding a description if necessary then click on the add tag button to finalise the task.

 

 

To create a custom tag, expand the create a new tag section to view the fields. Pick a category for the tag, record a name for the tag and possibly describe it on the add description field. Finally, click on the “save and add tag” button.

 

The patient tag will appear in the patient summary section as shown.
